Deep Tissue massage utilizes medium to heavy pressure and is a more focused and intense form of a massage that releases chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow strokes and deep finger pressure on contracted areas. It is aimed at the deeper tissue structures of the muscle and fascia, also called connective tissue. With the focus of deep tissue being pinpoint problem areas keep in mind that a full body massage may not be possible. Due to the release of toxins during this massage, you may feel some discomfort and should feel better 2 days after your appointment.
